MOSCOW, Jul 24 (PRIME) – Independent Russian gas producer Novatek has started commercial operations at the Yuzhno-Khadyryanskoye deposit in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region with a planned production level of one billion cubic meters of natural gas, it said on Wednesday.
CEO Leonid Mikhelson said that the location of the deposit facilitated its launch at a low cost.
The deposit’s resources amount to 28 bcm under Russian classification.
